when i look at my timetable (not the academic one, the one of my activities, meetings, social events, sports etc.) and i find ONE day that has nothing on it, i would be very surprised.
days go by so quickly now, i thought yesterday was monday, but actually tomorrow is thursday already. i try to make the days longer by getting up at 6:30 every morning. it helps a little, but there still isn't enough time.
i love this.
my arms are hideously bruised from volleyball training. the team here is really professional. it was tough, but freakin awesome! after training i ran back to my dorm in the typhoon - first time eh! :)
for some reason, the more the locals in my dorm waste their time and play, play, play, go to bed at ungodly hours, play mahjong, dont study, the more i'm motivated to to study and engage in meaningful activities. i think they are a live demonstration to me of what i don't want to be. anyways, i guess it's cos we have different perspectives; to them, making it to a uni like hkust means they've "achieved high enough, and its time they relaxed and just had fun". well, yea, ok, interesting. :P
life is currently the way i want it. :)
