from cover to cover

there comes a time, when some of us would desperately want to start over new. Me, for instance. By starting over new, i mean putting down everything, going to a place where no one knows me, and literally, start over new. But along with the pleasures & joys of life, there comes responsibilities, people you love, and numerous other aspects which prevent you from just letting go.

If life was like a book, i think it'd be only normal if we gripped tightly on onto the pages during the exciting, happy, climax parts of the story. And we're so absorbed by the dreamlike drama of it all that we're just dying to know "What next?", that we take "What's now" for granted. So we eagerly flip through the pages, eyes racing from line after line, and before we know it, all the cheery parts that the book can offer, are over.

Some people, after reading the last page, can put down the book and sigh, "that was an incredible book. I wouldn't mind reading it all over again", whilst some would say "that was terrible. I wish i never picked it up."
But no matter what the ending brings, you HAVE read the book from cover to cover. So you must have enjoyed the process of reading it, right?

Not all of us are granted with a good life. Some simply pick up the wrong book from the very beginning. A few fortunate ones end up with best-sellers, fairy-tales, or simply a Nicholas Spark.
But maybe as long as you've enjoyed the process of getting from one point to another, then every life lived, be it best-seller or something unpublished,
is worthwhile.

[By relating lives to books, im suggesting that Life is Written. I dont know whether it is, but if it was, I wouldn't complain about what the author has written for my book so far :) ]
