the sun amid the rain

on stifling warm days, a breezy gust of wind is what makes us cheer

on rainy days, the sight & warmth of then sun is what keeps us going

on chilly winter nights, a cup of hot chocolate is what puts a smile on our face

on lonely days, a company is what keeps us alive

but why do we desire what the moment lacks, instead of appreciating what the moment gives us?
how many amongst us can apreciate the rain for the pleasures it brings? how many can drop their umbrellas and just dance under the rain? how many can lift their arms up high in the air, and twirl and twirl, thanking the rain for being rain?

And how many can appreciate the warmth of then sun? the balmy authenticity of the heat upon your skin. The perspiration that some would exchange money and time for?

how many can smile when the rest of the room is frowning?

can be the sun amid the rain?
