farewell 2008

if i had to use one word to describe two oh oh eight, i guess it would be: eventful
some of the things i remember happening are:

1. i finally got ear piercings:D

2. i made a decision with my parents to stay in Penang for IB instead of going to the UK for college.

3. I turned omg- seventeeeeen.
we were finally done with IGSCE and innocently stepped into the world of IB, only to be punished for our innocence:P

4. Bec and I became best friends:)

5. A lot of new people came into my life, and i made a lot of new friends like Naima, Darren, Jas, Douglas, Ming :)

5. I met Ivan.

6. I went fishing for the first time in my life, & caught a fish for the first time in my life.

7. I had a huge fight with Bec, and we didnt talk for a week, but now we're back together, and stronger than before:)

8. oh yea, we went to Jerejak:)

9. i performed in the choir for the Christmas carols thing. wore a robe for the first time in my life.

10. Realised that i loved someone. Broke up with that someone. & learnt that the greatest power of Love, is Pain.

11. Helped out in a local charity (st. Nicholas) for the first time.

12. Lived every day with Mum, Dad, Bobo and Taku :)

13. Watched my friends grow up. Laughed with my friends. Loved and was loved by my them. :):)

14. Formed a band called AMTIRE, later changed to AMTIRED :P, which managed to get through the Prom auditions :)

15. Went to a kiddy playground thingy that I havent been to since goodness knows when :D and i had FUNNNN :D:D im still a child. :)

16. Had many sleep deprived days.

17. Grew up. Got confused. Got clear. Got confused again. Decided not to think.

18. Watched Heroes in the last minutes of 2008, and embraced (?) the arrival of 2009.



what will 2009 be like?
im trying not to think about it.
